What went well

I’ve seen a lot of things this week that make me feel excited, like things are ramping up and getting formalised and starting to chug into motion.

These include, but are not limited to:

• various roadmap talks that have left me feeling more aware of what’s coming up and my role within it
• discussions with product managers and UX colleagues about fund structure layouts and planning - exciting!
• seeing the developers work on AV APIs, just forever in awe at their abilities and skills
• Anna’s workshop with marketing - very excited to hear how that goes
• talking to Diversity and Inclusion colleagues about creating some space on the website for their work - they’re really eager to stick to UX and content design principles in planning their content and we had a really good chat on Friday about it

What could have gone better

Need to find the motivation to take next steps with regards to training and BFI departments. Need to have a couple of internal chats before this happens so just need to find that momentum!

Things felt a bit sluggish at points this week, which I think was down to poor sleep, so I bought some new pillows. Expect a new Jem once I’ve settled in.

Feud: Bette and Joan - Watched this a few years ago when I was a bit obsessed with Whatever Happened to Baby Jane and Crawford and Davis’ hatred of each other; rewatching with my girlfriend and Lange and Sarandon are still enthralling

Life on Mars - My girlfriend hasn’t seen it before, so we’re giving it a watch, still good
