Apply for British certification

We were asked recently to add some content to our ā€˜Apply for British certification’ pages, and this brought up some other questions I had about the existing structure and content.

This developed into me combing through the current landing page and asking more questions than was probably necessary at this stage. The stakeholders for this content have been very open to communication about it and we’ve got a meeting coming up to discuss some possible restructure (hopefully similar to the work we did on Diversity Standards).

Intranet sprint project

We’re getting ready to kick things off for the intranet sprint project with a workshop on Thursday 13 Feb. This will hopefully give us in the Digital team a bit of a steer with the project, what we already know and where we’re heading.

Tiered content for cinema bookers

We had a good session on Friday all to do with the next steps in our digital programme work for Southbank and IMAX websites. I started to think about tiered content that we can offer to users who are coming to the BFI, either with different mental models or moods. I did a little sketch of the below to show what I mean by this.

šŸæ Films and television

Haven’t watched any films this week although I recently purchased Odeon Limitless for a year, so we’ll see how much that gets used. I also bought two DVDs from CeX on the weekend

George A Romero’s Trilogy of the Dead and a box set of Carlito’s Way, Scarface and Casino. All for Ā£6.

Have been watching a lot of television though:

šŸ§‘šŸ»ā€šŸ’¼ Severance - can’t believe we’ve only just started this recently, so good

🧬 The Breakthrough - drama based on a true story about how a stabbing was solved through genealogy - was fine

šŸ” No Good Deed - Only three episodes into this but it’s very engaging so far. Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano make a great pair, and they’re both such nostalgic actors for me.
