I’ve been busy with recruitment. We’re trying to get two short-term content designers in to help us at the end of the financial year with a strong push towards embedding user-centred practice at the BFI.
I have been working on some fund guidelines as well.
And we had a big digital team away day, which was great. There were insightful talks, fun activities and meaningful discussions between peers, and I really enjoyed it.
The UX team also came away with the idea to start writing a team weeknote, where we could share our work more publicly, which I (biased) think would be a very beneficial move for the team, and the BFI as a whole.
Cinema is an advanced art, born of technological innovations. You could say it has been driven by two forces: the human need for self-expression and technology.
