What’s been going well

• Got some important changes made to the BFI NETWORK short film fund guidelines after a lot of collaborative rewriting work - we made it easier to understand:
  • the eligibility criteria for filmmaking teams
  • what users need to provide for their application
  • the post-application process
  • how to resubmit an application if you were unsuccessful
• Making some significant moves to create a content design strategy that will hopefully bring down silos across the BFI regarding digital content
  • this is going to include providing internal digital teams with a guide of what to ask for when publishing digital content and offering content design training to BFI departments
• Had a brief but good meeting with We Crip Films and Mel Hoyes to discuss the group’s presence on the website (there currently isn’t one, which we want to change)
• Working with another fund team now on their guidelines and hoping to make some positive changes there as well

What’s not gone well

• Me - have had a brutal cold that had me laid up all weekend (missed a family lunch and Bongo’s Bingo) but finally on the mend
