It’s been busy! Have been wandering around London doing some things, two main things I wanted to highlight were Pride and a more sombre protest by a brave group of trans kids.
Had a prideful day at Pride, caught up with a lot of friends and just had a wholesome time.
Pride is a protest: Trans Kids Deserve Better have been protesting at NHS England’s headquarters near Southbank.
I’ve had a lot of moments this week where I’ve felt like I’m starting to get a seat at the table, which has been really heartening. I’ve been involved in a few conversations now where people are keen to talk to me and plan ahead with content design in mind, and this is making me feel energised.
I am getting through several big chunks of work at the moment, mostly around funds and LFF. This means chatting with other teams and that’s all been really constructive.
On LFF, I’ve been looking at the content for industry delegates which so far I haven’t got into, and that’s been really fun. It’s also getting me excited for LFF this year.
Working on a content how-to for the intranet, very early stages but it’s forming up nicely.
Planning another meet up with the DCMS content designer soon!
Finally got Figma on my laptop so I don’t have to use the desktop version anymore. 😎
I did my first cycle commute to Stephen Street!
Finally cycled to Stephen Street - definitely took it out of me.
I’m flitting around too much trying to plan different things, just need to settle on one thing at a time.
