Right, well itâs been a while. Thought Iâd blow the dust off these notes after a chat with Michelle last week.
Wonât be a long one, but wanted to go through some work me and the team have been doing!
But first things first, I saw my nemesis again:
Broken pens returned, accompanied by broken chair.
Weâve been dedicating a lot of time to the digital programme work recently, which has been awesome. Work has included a few workshops (one in person, which was super useful and fun), collaborating on Miro and Figma and a crit! Together, weâve improved and refined some of the access, visit and ticket content!
The main thing we wanted to do was incorporate access content into the âplan your visitâ structure so that it feels more integrated (for example, the âhow to get hereâ content has information about distance from the car park, and what Blue Badge parking is available etc.), whilst still highlighting and structuring important accessibility information so that itâs easier for users with access needs to find.
Mapping the new layout in our content cut-up workshop.
Improving the placement of important information in the new draft. In this case, Iâve highlighted where the âlift worksâ information is on our existing website, and where it would be in the new draft.
Iâve been working with the Certification team (incredible team btw) on improving their content. Thereâs been a period of change around what British certification of a film, TV show or video game means in terms of tax incentives, so naturally their pages have seen a glut of new information that needs sorting out.
Theyâve been amazing to work with, and theyâre really open to collaborating on this which has been wonderful.
Weâre trying to take the content back to basics, and introducing it as a concept.
New landing page draft for certification.
